Joe targeted by DCCC

The Detroit News ran an article on 1/31 stating that Joe Knollenberg is targeted by the DCCC as being vulnerable in '08. http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070131/METRO/701310425/1022/POLITICS

Also, the CQ has an article with the same premise, that Joe is in the target of the Democrats in '08, http://www.cqpolitics.com/2007/01/michigan_gop_rep_knollenberg_d.html

The Detroit News article also has a quote from Joe's spokesperson saying that Joe doesn't support price controls on drugs. I guess Joe thinks that negotiating prices is the same as price controls. Makes me think Joe is just plain stupid. Anyone that buys in bulk knows to try to negotiate the price of what they're buying. I wonder if Joe has ever negotiated a better price for anything he's bought in his personal life when he bought a lot of something.

His spokesperson again reiterates that Joe is pro life. Joe may be pro birth, but he is definitely not pro life. If he were, he'd support universal health care and be against the escalation of the war which is killing thousands of American service people and hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis.

There's been a lot of on-line press in the last two weeks about how the DCCC is targeting MI-09 for '08. Now that they're paying attention and it looks like they'll send some money our way, we should be able to get rid of Joe once and for all. Too bad they didn't see the writing on the wall last November.

I have met Carl Levin and I have heard him speak.

I have met John Dingell and I have heard him speak.

I am in awe of what Congressman Dingell and Senator Levin have done while in Congress.

I have met Joe Knollenberg. I have heard Joe Knollenberg speak. I have seen what little Joe Knollenberg has done in Congress.

Joe Knollenberg is no Carl Levin or John Dingell.

Senator Levin is a very, very smart man. His ethics are beyond reproach. The same goes for Congressman Dingell.

Knollenberg isn't half as smart as Levin or Dingell.

And as you can see from the other postings here, Knollenberg has questionable ethics.

Can you name the major pieces of legislation that, in his 14 years in the House -- in the majority, by the way -- that Knollenberg has authored or even just been the primary sponsor?

I'm not talking about flushing toilets either.

Congressman Dingell is the primary author of the Clean Air Act and it's many amendments.

Both Congressman Dingell and Senator Levin are viewed as leaders and are highly respected by their colleagues.

Knollenberg is viewed as a follower, not a leader. He is a good little Republican who does what George Bush tells him to do. He toed the line right up there with Tom Delay and Newt Gingrich.

Knollenberg isn't even in the same category as Levin or Dingell.

Oh, and this blog is not as polarizing as you are asserting.

In case you still haven't noticed, the name of the blog is still
"VOTE NO ON JOE (Knollenberg)".

Levin, Dingell, Kilpatrick, and whomever else you want to raise are probably not discussed here because they are not the topic of the Blog.
