Unbelievable! Is he going to sit out the whole 110th Congress? Joe didn't vote on the minimum wage bill today, which passed with a number of Republicans joining the Democrats. Maybe he thinks no one in the 9th district works for minimum wage, but he's wrong.
Maybe he thinks if he never votes "no" no one will notice that he's not voting at all.

Where is Joe?
Maybe we can convince John Ashcraft to pull out that milk carton with Knollenberg's picture on it.
Based on your new post, looks like he came out of hiding long enough to make a statement about Bush's speech, but I'm sure he'll go crawling back in as soon as it's time to vote on funding stem cell research later today. Let's see what he does with that one.
Come on. "Sit out the entire 110th Congress."
Any possibility he might have had a personal issue on that day?
So when you missed a single day or two from work, you won't have an issue with your boss firing you?
Let's compare Knollenberg's attendance to the average of all Democrats at the end of the 110th. Or if you want to right now, how about for the 109th, since the record exists.
And while you're at it, you might demand that Nancy Pelosi put through a bill that docks pay for missed votes.
Okay Chetly, I take your offer, why don't you enlighten us as to Knollenberg's attendance record.
And while you are at it, why don't you tell us
- how many meetings he has attended with constituents,
- how many mailings he has done to constituents
- how many bills he has introduced
- how many major pieces of legislation he has been the primary sponsor of and that have passed
- how many floor speeches has he given
- how many speeches in general has he given
- how has he communicated his position on major issues with his constituents over the past year? Issues like the Iraq War? What does he think about the health care plan Bush discussed in his SOTU address?
By the way, you are using that same childish argument that when Joe does something wrong it can't be that bad because someone else did it too. Well, there isn't anyone reading or contributing to this site that would buy that excuse. It is childish. Why would what someone else did matter if what Joe did was wrong?
