Knollenberg Supports Country That Harbors Terrorists!

Joe Knollenberg is no friend to those working in the auto industry here. He has consistently voted for unfair trade legislation that has hurt the industry and resulted in fewer and fewer manufacturing and engineering jobs in the region.

Now Joe Knollenberg wants to increase trade with Saudi Arabia.

  • Yes. The same Saudi Arabia that was home to most of the 9/11 terrorists.

  • Yes. The same Saudi Arabia that created OPEC so that they could have control over the US economy.

  • Yes. The same Saudi Arabia that doesn't hold any elections.

  • Yes. The same Saudi Arabia that doesn't let women participate in public life or even to go anywhere without their burkas.

  • Yes. The same Saudi Arabia that that doesn't allow due process.

  • Yes. The same Saudi Arabia that didn't even outlaw slavery until 1962 and is still known to participate in human trafficking.

  • Yes. The same Saudi Arabia that doesn't believe in free speech.

Why would Knollenberg support trade with Saudi Arabia? Well there are two clear reasons -- because George Bush supports it and because Saudi Arabia has a lot of lobbyists with a lot of cash for Knollenberg's campaign coffers.

Didn't Bush say that any country that harbored terrorists would be considered terrorists? Doesn't that apply to Saudi Arabia?

Why does Joe Knollenberg support a terrorist regime?

How can we possibly trust someone like Joe Knollenberg.
