Yesterday I purchased a book every American should read, The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein. I've been struggling to make sense of the Bush Administration's policies, torture, war, privitzation of government functions, etc. I thought surely George W. Bush gets that he has lost the support of most of the country, yet he continues to put forward policies that make him less and less popular with the vast majority of Americans.
