Joe comes out against National Holiday to Vote

How cynical can you get? The May 31, 2007 edition of the Oakland Press has an editorial speaking to having a national holiday for voting. Of course Joe Knollenberg has come out solidly against this idea. Apparently Joe thinks it would cost business too much to allow for a day off to perform our civic duty and vote for our representatives. I will say one thing for Joe Knollenberg, he does vote consistently in favor of business and against average Americans, even Americans that want to perform their civic duty to vote for members of Congress. Way to go, Joe.
