Liberal finds his voice in a conservative town
BY ANNETTE KINGSBURY STAFF WRITER
Bruce Fealk is a man on a mission.
A Democrat in a county dominated by Republicans, he acknowledges he wasn't politically active until a couple of years ago. Now, he's demonstrating, blogging, campaigning, setting up Web sites and, most recently, hosting a local-access cable television show that can also be viewed on the Web.
It's all aimed at getting more exposure for Democrats in Oakland County. Disappointed by mainstream media, Fealk has turned to the Internet, the explosively popular avenue for grassroots communication.

This article is great!
Congratulations Bruce.
I like the comment by Knollenberg's lobbyist/Chief of Staff that he is disappointed that the 2008 campaign has started already -- as though that is your fault when they are the ones who paid $10,000 for a re-election sign!!
And they've already sent out a campaign mailer -- who has really started early, Joe?
I thought that line was a hoot!
